Prices are F.O.B. shipping point and do not include taxes, shipping or
insurance charges. Although price changes are infrequent, Intec reserves
the right to change prices without notice.
The purchaser takes ownership and responsibility for the goods the moment
they are passed on to the shipper. It is up to the purchaser to request
or arrange for insurance against loss or damage. However, for information
purposes, Intec has not experienced loss or damage with any shipment made
through FedEx or UPS in over 12 years of business.
Only Visa and MasterCard, $ US money order or certified $US cheque payments
are accepted. A client wishing credit terms must apply to Intec for such
and provide banking information and at least 3 credit references.
Taxes and Duties
Intec only collects sales tax (PST) for the Province of British Columbia
for orders delivered in this province, and Goods and Service Tax (GST)
for all orders delivered in Canada. Intec does not collect taxes for any
other jurisdictions. It is up to the purchaser to pay the appropriate taxes,
duties and brokerage fees to the corresponding authorities.
Shortages, Errors or Damaged Product
The purchaser is responsible for checking the goods on receipt, for damage,
shortages or errors. The purchaser must inform Intec in writing, within
5 days of receipt of the goods, of any discrepancies. Intec will issue
a return authorization number to the buyer. The goods must be returned
to Intec in their “as-received” condition, in their original
packaging. Goods returned to Intec without a return authorization number
will be declined and returned to the purchaser by freight collect.
If the goods have been damaged in transit, it is up to the purchaser
to claim damages from the carrier.
30 Day Return Policy
The purchaser may return the goods within 30 days, for a full refund,
provided the goods are returned in pristine condition and in their original
packing. Software, or development kits that contain software, can only
be returned if accompanied by written certification that the software has
been completely removed from the computer(s) on which it was installed
and that all copies have been destroyed. This certification must be made
on a form obtained from Intec and it must be signed by the purchaser in
front of a witness.
This 30 day return policy does not apply to custom products or products
that have been customized to the client’s requirements.
90 Day Limited Warranty
Intec warrants its products to be in good working order for 90 days from
date of purchase. If the product should fail at any time within this warranty
period, Intec will repair or replace the product, at its option. This limited
warranty does not cover damages resulting from accidents, acts of God,
abuse, or modifications.
The client must first apply for warranty service and for a return authorization
number. The client is then responsible for shipping the goods to Intec,
at the client’s expense. Goods shipped to Intec without a return
authorization number will be declined and returned to the purchaser by
This warranty is limited to repairing or replacing the defective product.
In no event shall Intec be liable for any damages, including any lost profits
or incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability
to use this product.
